In 2023 we held our first National conference at the University of Derby. Representatives from chapters across England attended for a day of networking, talks and activities.

Attendees learnt new ideas and approaches

Loved the energy at the CWA national conference and found it refreshing to be able take a step back from the operation of our local group. A great place for honest chats about different approaches to juggling bikes, volunteers, partners and budgets. As well as our shared love of the outdoors and a generous can-do attitude. I left with new ideas and a great sense of the strength and potential of our network.”

Clare Rishbeth, Chair, CWA Sheffield.

It was an opportunity to network

“Our previous conference held at the University of Derby provided a fantastic opportunity to network across Chapters, and share practice – this experience certainly helped to kickstart further developments for CWA England and Wales.”

Guy Collins, Chair, CWA Staffordshire
