Wallingford

Hello!

Welcome to Cycling Without Age Wallingford. We provide free trike rides to the elderly and frail across Wallingford.

Two male passengers are sat on a trike with a red blanket with the river Thames behind them and Wallingford bridge.

About us

We have triked with residents from several local care homes, day centres, and supported living sites

But, we also want to offer our services beyond Wallingford!

We also do family arranged rides for care home residents and home alone folk

We have 20 trained volunteer pilots who are full of enthusiasm!

What our passengers have said

Elwin

“ I enjoyed every minute of it. The fresh air, the scenery, and meeting new people along the way made me feel more connected to everything around us.”

Heather

“Going through the ton centre and waving to people made my day. It felt like being part of the community again. Really special.”

Eric

“The whole ride was brilliant. We shared stories, laughed, met friendly faces and I felt the kind of freedom you don’t get everyday. I’d go again in a heartbeat.”

Bill

“I never thought I’d be riding along by the OU rowing club at my age! It brought back a real sense of fun and movement. Wonderful experience!”

Muriel

“Seeing the riverside again from the trike was just lovely. I don’t get out that way often anymore, so I felt like a great adventure.”
